Privacy notice

1. Who is responsible

MayaGo Tours & Experiences, which operates mayagotours.com ("MayaGo"), is responsible for your personal data under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. For any question about this notice, contact us at WhatsApp +529841960104.

2. Data we collect

When you request a booking: your name, the tour, option, date, number of adults and children, and currency. When you open WhatsApp we also see your phone number and whatever you write in the chat.
When you use the virtual advisor: the questions you type. We do not store them in our database; we only keep an anonymous daily counter to prevent abuse.
While browsing: technical data such as device type, browser, pages visited and language, through cookies (see section 6).

We do not request sensitive personal data or payment data on the site. Payment is arranged directly with an agent.

3. Why we use your data

Necessary purposes: handling your booking request, confirming availability and price, coordinating your tour with the operator that provides it (times, pickup point, number of guests), supporting you before, during and after your trip, and answering your questions.

Secondary purposes: producing site usage statistics to improve it. If you don't want your data used for this, reject measurement cookies in the cookie notice or in "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of the page; it does not affect your booking.

4. Who we share your data with

Tour operators (for example parks, excursion and transportation operators), only with the data needed to provide the service you booked.
Technology providers that process data on our behalf: our web hosting provider; Google (Google Analytics for statistics and Google Gemini to generate the virtual advisor's answers); and WhatsApp (Meta) as the communication channel you choose when booking.
Authorities, when required by law or court order.

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

5. Your rights and how to withdraw consent

You can access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, and withdraw your consent or limit its use. Send your request to WhatsApp +529841960104 with your name, the right you want to exercise and, if possible, your booking request number. We will answer within 20 business days.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Necessary: a session cookie for the site to work securely, and a cookie with your preferred language. Your preferred currency is stored in your own browser.
Measurement (optional): Google Analytics, which uses cookies such as _ga to count visits and see which tours are most popular. They are only enabled if you accept them.

You can change your choice at any time under "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of the page, or delete cookies in your browser.

7. Retention

We keep booking requests for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and tax obligations; afterwards we delete or anonymize them.

Any change to this notice will be published on this page with the date of the last update.
